For the Christian

Solid overview on shame from a psychiatrist neuroscientist;

Chester Wright on Healing Shame
Reverend Wright offers some good information on shame that plagued his life adult life.  Like anything else, "eat the melon, spit out the seeds." It is unlikely we agree with everything someone teaches, but if you're open, there is some strong insight offered!

These are long videos, but worth the time!

Dr Charles Kraft--Made in God's Image
Mellow presentation, but restores dignity to who we are.  A man who struggled with toxic shame (doesn't use phrase) but uses self-hatred and being born into this world unwanted.

Todd White talks about identity.  This is the key...who are we?  He gets into healing and I'm not too sure about some of this, but this message is solid and passionate.  He really comes from a harsh background and gives hope.

Who I Am in Christ

Relational Sin and the Four 'Do Nots'
I sat under Larry, and his views are solid and keeps relationship with God, others, and self always in view.  We are NOT defined by our past, our emotions, and our problems.  We have a new identity and must live out of that.  We can do this when we understand our "self" is always greater than our "defects" and that is what the gospel is all about!
